02 Apr 2008: Now that's a Grand Design!
'Bluebell Bungalow (Maidstone House) started as all good ideas do – over a bottle of wine. The minute Sunday lunch was over Jean and her son-in-law, Paul, were out with a tape measure seeing how feasible it was to fit a bungalow in the available space in the back garden.
The driving force behind the decision to build Bluebell Bungalow was to create a home that would give Bill, who is severely disabled and confined to a wheelchair, a better quality of life by improving his ability to be independent and also a garden that Jean could manage and they could both enjoy.. She loves gardening but the garden of the current bungalow was just too much work and Bill can’t get into it due to the steps everywhere.'

When Jo Tarling of the Bluebell Bungalow project approached us to design a website showcasing their Grand Designs featured building project we jumped at the chance to get involved. We built Jo a cracking website with full content management system allowing her to easily edit the website herself, fleshing it out as the project has taken shape.
Using the Creative Stream Site Manager 2 content management system has allowed Jo to easily add new content, image galleries and all kinds of other information to the website over the course of the project, ready for the launch of the site simultaneous with the programme's airing on Channel 4.
